This kitten is so cute. I do like the focus on his face and claws; the gradual blurring of the b/g is effective. Seems like you have grown attached to the cats. Keep on experimenting with your D70. I'd like to see more postings of the cats. Regards...

Coincidence I photographed 5 2 week old kittens yesterday, all blue eyes at the moment, and already showing signs of temper hissing at my camera.
He looks so cute and helpess the claws being their way of hanging on. Nice shot.

a life is going to death just when it starts,
because always I think the face of newborn is very similar to long-lived one.
of course, it is a lovely little face and figure of newborn cat, but it suggests the whole life of this cat, maybe it is happy or severe, but this moment the calmness is precious for it.

it seem that we have the same problem.. my broadband is like that also for the past 3 weeks now..

nice shot of the newborn.. im used to it as i have 13 cats now.. :) its not exactly sharp but keep on practising im sure the shot will be sharper.. tfs..
