[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Its morning to you, for me another day for survival,
Traffic signal to you, for me it’s my workplace,
Sky for you, for me it’s my blanket,
Cold for you, for me its invitation to death,
Its rain for you to enjoy, but for me its water in my bed,
Bread for you, for me its like an oasis in a desert,
Story to you ,for me its my real life
My face is stodgy like a grave, from the day I was born,
Spent childhood in the cradle of spines,
And now the life is bare footed on the hot coals,
That’s may life which is without any hope……

hello Vaibhav
how are you friend?
great face you have captured here Vaibhav. yaar bas thoda kaam karna, ek to isey offcenter mein le lo left se, iski peeth ke peeche kaafi negetive space hai.
the colours and the light are wonderful and i like his expressions too as if he is in his own thoughts somewhere.

thanks for sharing

regards
Manuj Mehta

Hi Vaibhav,
Nice portrait, what interesting hair he has! Looks like he's put his hand into an electrical socket, lol. Nicely composed, seems nice and sharp too. What ISO was this taken with? The reason I ask is because there is slight graininess if you look closely, nothing serious though. Well captured.

TFS,
Scott.

Hello Vaibhav
Very very interesting ans studyable subject.
In my opinion u should've gone more closer to him (apart form using 200mm) u've have gotten more narrow DOF and vertical composition would have been more effective.

His face is not in proper focus, very very soft focused.

Best of luck, happy shooting
Regards,
JZM

Hello

nice picture i like his hair style

Congrats

Hi Vaibhav,
What an expression in his eyes!
A nice capture of this chap with a somewhat angry aspect.
His hair is wonderfully undone and the beard adds his bidding for mercy appearance!
Nice warm lighting adequate for this type of photography.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Interesting shot. I think this would've been better more tightly cropped, I don't quite understand the need for so much space around him. At least some crop from the top and right, so that he is less centred in the frame?

Good sharpness, colours, and light.

Hi Vaibhav,
Brilliant shot of this caracter, his face say's it all, I think, possibly if you had got to close to take this picture he may have become agressive? - good choice of the long lens. Yes could do with a bit of sharpening and it is a little grainy, could work better in B&W but your choice is good. A great record of daily life in the streets. TFS

namaste,

i would've cropped from top n a lil from the left, similar kinda person sits outside my house but i hesitate to approach him thinking he might get grumpy.

Hi Vaibhav

Not a bad portrait, but I'd move in closer, as others have said. Good colour & adequate sharpness. A little soft, but not serious. Tfs! Have a fantastic weekend!

A sad situation

Hi Vaib,
Yes, this is the other side of the medal. "We" do have too much, "they" do have too less. It is not possible that we live in so much prosperity, whereas he lives in daily misery.
But this is daily business.
Good capture with a great note !
TFS.

HI Vaibhav
You have captured quite a look, the fuziness of the background thows us off a bit, into seeing the man also not as sharp, a closer crop might help to make him stand out more.
Dot

nice work vaibhav,
you have already many advices to act and by the time you do that i suggest to keep shooting and be happy.

Hey Vaibhav,

This guy really seems to be a character. I wonder what his story is.

I think you have wisely chosen your subject. The gentleman here is prime material for a portrait. I can only image the stories his eyes and demeanor could tell.

I do see a bit of softness in his face. That's somewhat understandable, as you were shooting way out at the long end of your lens. Still, it is a bit distracting.

I agree with the comment that you probably should have taken a few steps closer. That would have allowed you to really fill the frame with your subject and not leave so much empty space around him. I like your workshop crop a lot better than this one. I would have considered moving not only closer, but also to the left a touch so you could frame him looking into the center of the image and isolated him in the muted tone of the brickwork behind him.

I really like the overall limited vibrancy of your work, here. You have well resisted the temptation to make this image too bright or too vibrant. The darker tones really emphasizes the dirt on this man.

Great work, TFS,
skot

Hi Vaibhav!

Yes, it´s sab but true... no different here in Brazil... in the streets, in the favelas...
However, a great work. Artistic and journalistic.
Congratulations.

Um abraco
Paulo.

hello, A good shot of this untamed man.
I like the lighting and saturation which suits the mood.
I would liked to seen it cropped a bit closer and then it really would have punch. I like the WS shot.
Good work. Joni
