[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Malda is the main town of the district of the same name of the Indian state of West Bengal. The river Mahananda runs by Malda town. It is fairly dry in winter. On the banks of the river hutments are built by the poor of Malda. The window on one such hut is here dappled by the afternoon sun.

Cropped and turned into B/W. Contrast raised.

Hello Salil.
I like this work. I like your choice of B/W,the strong light and exposure, the shadows on the hut and whole painting effect.
Excellent PP.
Regards, Francesco

Really like the use of b&w. The window is very enigmatic. I want to know what's in there.

Hi Salil,
It's a very good idea to use B&W to give an idea of spots of light on walls and wood. Congratulations
Dalia
