[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
this infact is a jamadar ( a garbage collector). he's about 6-7 years old, doesnt go to school, spends the whole day collecting garbage. covered with filth, his face was still glowing with charm
ive posted another of his photographs on trekearth
http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Asia/India/photo57985.htm
but since this is a igh contrast photograph i thought that treklens would be the better site to upload this one

Quite a capture. The dark contrast is excellent to bring out the personality and charisma of your subjet. A light shining in spite of the gloomy situation. Thanks for sharing.

great shot I like the lighting and the darken area around the eyes. just wonderful

Very strong image of this hardworking young kid...The high contrast works well here. I just love your documentary photos Sohrab :)

This is a great shot, but it is almost too dark in some areas. You say in your note that he was glowing with charm and I would really like to see that. But nontheless, from a technical point of view it's great.
Well done.

The heavy contrast is really suited to this, as we can imagine some of it's dirt and that this is someone who stays in the shadows... the close crop is well choosen. Well captured.

Hi, deep photo and the contrast in this way makes it strong as the message it contains. There are many part of the little guy which are very well caught, like for example the bone of the shoulder, very well defined by the choice of contrast.

i don īt feel like giving any comment...i find it great, and i thank you for sharing with us true pictures!
