I met these girls on the streets near Golconda fort. I was smitten by their innocence and calm expressions. To me they looked adorable. I did a group portrait in colour which I have posted as a workshop. I couldnt resist doing individual pictures of them all.

Critiques and comments are welcome. Have a good day everybody!

lovely, natural shots as they usualy come out when children are photographed - natural, no artistic or fake smiles. this is really a good example. also, the black & white works well for this composition. and it's actually a bit magical how all the girls look straight into camera, thus, on me and everybody else who looks at this picture. well done!

What cute cheeky looking young girls Lakshmi! And they look like they are enjoying you taking their photos. Well displayed, thank you
Janice

This is so lovely Lakshmi. Each portrait well focused. Well done.

Human faces always make an interesting subject. Kids are all the more fun. Each face have those inquiring look. And all seem to be enjoying. Good you got this in black and white. Well presented.

Beautiful montage, Lakshmi, and beautiful expression you have captured on their face. I might have liked that the one at the right be as much of a close shot as the others as she feels a bit far from the action contrary to the other ones - maybe she was a bit shyer than the others. Well done!

Hi Lakshmi,
also this one is excellent, I love the smiling faces, they are lovely.
Are they Moslems? I thought most people in your country are Hinduists?
I love the culture and religion of your country, so interesting but so difficult to understand for me. I have to come another time to see more. This year I visited Myanmar/Burma, also a lot of Indian culture to see there, it was a great time.
Bye

Very good framing and potraits.I feel b/w looks much better. because somehow the b/w takes care of the skin coilor and lets you focus more on the pure expressions...instead of destraction.
regards,
Shahid
