[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken at the nainital lake. A black and white version of a tiny flower.
The flower minus those colors still looks attractive.
I was impressed with the velvet of water in the background.

I actually had to lean over the boundary to compose this frame.

I wanted the bud in the background to give me depth and a balanced composition.
I was a little apprehensive about it...I could today gather the courage to upload this one.

I think the B&W looks even better than the color. Tones are very beautifull, compo is nice.

Yes i like that! With or without color, the beauty stay! simple but well executed! With only one in the clarity zone... Second as already outside and for the rest.... A good blurred background!

It's not often to see a macro like this desaturated. It's a brave thing to do - but I think it worked very well for you!
The composition is nice and the 'echo' of the bud in the background works well.
