Shimla, August 11, 2006, 6.05 p.m.
It has rained the whole day, keeping me indoors.
When it stops raining early in the evening, I pull the curtain aside and peep out the window of my room.
There is a rent in the clouds that reveals a blue sky that looks different.
Here is a picture of it.

Hello Ram,
An effective composition in distinct layers!
The real subject is the sky, which comes with wonderful colours and fine details in the clouds...
The silhouetted ground makes a good foundation for the composition!

Very nicely captured, Ram. I like the silhouette of the mountains and the amazing sky. I might have cloned out or cropped out the little area of blue in the mountains to keep them only as silhouette. Nice colours in the sky and good combination of blue & sunset colours. Well done!

Amazing shades of blue in your sky and the framing of clouds simply sets it off all the more.
