Critiques [Translate]

Hi Harsh! Okay, I'll critique ;) I was drawn to this in the gallery I think because of those rich warm sepia tones that make the atmosphere and climate in the photo warm and nostalgic. The use of natural lighting (early morning, creates lovely effects) really did wonders here. I like the contrasts created, as well as the stretched shadows of the water droplets that make the shot even more dynamic. Good plain background for the leaves to pop out against, and the contrasts are ok. I will nitpick a few things: first, the I do sense either a bit of camera shake or a lack of sharpness on the leaves, especially the central leaf curving across the shot. Perhaps use a faster shutter speed, especially since there are already some highlights on the background that are getting overexposed, you don't need a slower shutter speed to get enough light into the camera. Also watch for composition, try not to crop so much off the leaves at the bottom as they would have provided great balance with the leaf at the center. Avoid also having any objects in the center of the shot as that does not allow the viewer's eye to go all around the shot. Very good shot with great mood and atmosphere though, and keep shooting!
