Hi Vandana,

Looked at the WS after seeing this one. WS is nice on its own as well but this one stands out a little more. Great PP-work, great sharpness and facial detail.

eh.. a great portrait, Vandana!... i love the b&w effect in portraits.. usally is my favorite solution.. however the coloured version (original) was cool!! BG was perfect the same!! great capture.. intensity of his expression is so alive and comunicative!! excellent!!

Good portrait, but your post processing requires bit of polishing. Your gaussian blur technique requires some work too. It is evidant on the edges.

Blurring the background has worked well here concentrating the focus on the face which is full of care and concentration. However on my screen the sepia tone looks very purple (rather than yellow)

What an interesting, character filled portrait, Vandana. The way his eyes show is very appealing. Your detail and the use of the light are perfect. Choosing sepia makes it even more appealing. I wonder what those eyes have seen.

Your right Vandana,

The blue of the tarpoline was reflecting on his clothes and skin. The colour as such I would not have mind.
So a good solution to present this portrait this was.
