Healed

She fluttered into my room and sat on the window sill on a sultry afternoon. As she rested... I noticed her broken wings - tattered I didn't know how. She surely needed tending, care and healing to take to her wings. I lifted her gently on to my camera... on Painter I did the repair. Cloned the healthy side on the damaged one, brushed with tender care - coloured where it was needed... diffused where it was required... and so on and on. After labour of a short while I thought she was fit and fine - healed and ready to fly. And that she did in to the blue sky.
(For the ones concerned with truth beyond virtual reality - the damage was not so debilitating - she did fly off happily in the end) |

what a lovely story Mukesh! sweet little butterfly.. so kind of you to try to mend her wing in you own special way :-) very nice idea to have this before and after look.. and great virtual repair job! ^_^
Ayda
you did a nice job healing her wing. Too bad healing real wings isn't so easy... I'm glad to hear the damage wasn't threatening to the real butterfly.
