I visit Calcutta once and I see lots of the similar electric poles like this. Also in Bangladesh :). We have the same unawareness of the dangeer here too but not as this :)

I saw this many times in Asia and was amazed by it. Not something you would see in North America. I even saw one once that had sparks flying out of it. A really good picture. Nice and sharp. TFS

cleverly noticed, well done in spite of difficult BG (sky); I have never seen such a mess! maybe once, in Libya, somewhere close to Benghazi main souq... small insulators indicate these are (or I'd rather say were) conductors for insignificant voltage (up to 400 V) or even telecom;
