[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dear TrekLens friends:
Thank you so much for your visits and comments. Here is a joke for you:
A monkey said to another monkey in a zoo as he saw his keeper approaching, "Am I my Keeper's brother?"
Well I captured this friend in a park where people came and after they had lunch they shared the leftover with the monkeys that were lurking there. And that is the case here. I think he was expecting something from me too in return of this picture for the Treklens, so I shared my bag of chips with him.
I have used Manual exposures here with ISO400. Since the DOF was very busy and far, I came down to F/8 with Max value F/4.5 on the lens. My Focal length was about half, i.e.,140mm on my Canon 70-300mmlens. To compensate for any long barrel movement I set my Shutter Speed to 1/250 sec. This would give me a reasonable stability, sharpness, and nice defused DOF. This was my simple monkey-business!
Thank you for watching out for me!
Best wishes
David

Hi David,
Wonderful portrait!
The pose and glance are really very well captured!
I like the whiteness of background. It creates a very nice depth an a feeling that this monkey is there since a long time. Beautiful done!

Funny catch and pose here.
He looks like he's been caught red handed eating some food.
