Hi David,
Excellent shot especially as it's handheld, the colours, lighting, sharpness and details are great as is the note, though personally I don't like the coloured text (I had to moan about something LOL)

*I was using my Canon 30D with EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens. If you are thinking of getting a good all-round lens to do some close-up images, then I will recommend this lens.*

I have the 24 - 105 USM IS L-series.. also a son of a ***

Very nice shot, it really does glow. I like the sharpness and the depth you used here.
The whole thing, light, color, focus, placement and depth all work well together.

We have these Arum lilies (Zantedeschia aethiopica) growing at home in our garden. Some places in NZ now call thjem noxious weeds - buut we don't!! They can 'take over' a garden and especially wet areas of land.

This is a beautiful image David - the whiteness is perfect and so is the yellow spandix, which is the real "flower" of the plant. It is actually many tiny flowers arranged in a complex spiral pattern on the central column (spadix).
