there seem to be too many artefacts in the water..have u tried to adjust exposure in photo shop.
Though one can have ones own rules, its always a good idea to have a slightly off centre compo...the sun being a bit to the left or right would have enhanced the compo.
Also, try and keep the horizon in the upper or the lower thirds.
