[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Savannas are the tropical grasslands mainly found in Africa. But India too has a typical Savanna habitat. This is Nannaj in Solapur district of Maharashtra. This is a rainshadow region recieving very scanty rainfall. The habitat is basically a scrub forest with patches of grasslands. The major attraction over here is the GREAT INDIAN BUSTARD which is a crtically endangered species. As usual the issue of consrvation is crtitical!
