Great candid portrait - her faraway expression and distant eyes; her mouth seems to be forming words that she is saying to herself. Very sharp details show the lines and contours of her skin; perfect exposure with great effect from the light/shadows. Very nice image, my friend.

The lady has indeed a very thoughtful look maybe she is yearning for better times. The conversion to black and white only makes the shot stronger the details are very sharp even the wispy hair stands out well. The narrow dof is excellent as is the pov well done.
