This moth had patience. I tried many angles, even disturbed the shrub a couple of times where it was perched, but it stayed on. Obliging me a comfortable photo session of many a minutes.

This is sharp,sharp,sharp! Very good exposure and lovely capture! Nice shallow DOF really shows up the detail in the eye...sublime macro!

nice to meet you again after a long time.
I like your pretty insect-shot, you know I'm a fan of macros and insects.
I hope you don't mind, but it's not a moth, it's a skipper, a Pelopidas mathias, commonly known as the Dark Small-branded Swift, that is a butterfly belonging to the family Hesperiidae. It is found throughout much of Southeast and East Asia, and as far as the Philippines.
