Boys at play :
Kids jumping off a monument that faces the Taj Mahal from the other side of River Yamuna.
The river separates the Taj Mahal from an Ampitheatre and is about 50 meters wide with moderately fast moving currents.
I stood there and was interesting to see the excitement on the boys faces when they spotted me standing with my huge camera :P
An hyper-energy altoghther took control of them.
They would approach the fall running and plunge, then swim back, climb up and repeat.

I had a decent chat with all of them sitting there for an hour, luckly I had some chocolates and toffees on me so they all had a gala time. Learned abour their culture and daily life.
They emphasized on me giving money, let me tell you NEVER make that mistake, firstly it spoils them and they will develop the habit and secondly if u do give there'll be many more asking its like honey for ants, dont even drop a Drop.
Cheers :)

Very nice shot with the colors, mood andf actions. A question though: those 2 boys in mid-air - did you add them with photoshop? It looks like they were inserted afterwards. Welcome to TL.

Hi vishal.
this is a good photograph. good timing. did you keep the focus at infinity?

What a happy moment you have captured? I like the photos that make me experience other feelings. This is art , don´t agree? You have produced a smile today! Thanks and welcome for TL , Fernanda.

Good photo, full of energie and joy... Good composition...

Good job...

I agree never give money to the kids. Good thing you had some goodies with you.

Nice story to supplement a very nice image. I do want to start something like this soon. I did try but not a very decent result. This weekend may be.

As for your picture, I like the joy and excitement you have in a rather simple pleasure shown by very simple people. Good timing. Well done. TFS

Hi Vishal,
Good timing, wonderful composition... The muddy colour, which is dominant throughout the whole picture, reflects the atmosphere very well.
Looking forward to seeing more of these...
TFS ;-)

hi shal...how are u doing? i like this photo that you posted...it makes me reminisce the times when i was a kid when i go to the province and visit my relatives during summer...we usually jump off the cliff when we go swimming...just like this kids...but i have one thing in my mind...before i got to read the other critique, i was wondering if the two kids jumping are really part of the original shot or was only added during your editing of the photo...The color of the kid jumping is so off from their background...(i dont know the right term for that...sorry) ...And i was thinking, can that one kid with his feet straight could really jump off that far? coming from the wall? (Well im just curious) but all in all...this is a nice shot...you captured a precious moment.

Una composición estupenda. Bravo

Nice shot! The one's in the air came out well!
