Hello my friends,
today I'm presenting you this shot from Rajasthan.
I made it in Fetehpur Sikri. Hindi: फतेहपूर सिकरी)

The city was built by the Emperor Akbar between 1570 and 1586. It was the capital of the Mughal Empire for 10 years but was abandonned.

It's such a wonderful place, I hope you like my shot, bye.

sabine the color here is amazing, did you retouch it or is it really like this, it needs to be straightened a bit. it is not completly horizontal. nonetheless a lovely shot

I don't know if you worked on the colour or if it is really liked this but either way it is stunning. A fairy -tale place for sure. Interesting architecture and details. It is a tiny bit skew but a great photo!!

I love the colors here! Beautiful composition! Fascinating! Michel

An amazingly interesting structure. Plus the colours are quite amazing. Are the colours the result of lighting or paint? The structural symmetry is disrupted nicely by the apparent lack of symmetry in colours. This makes the image more interesting I think.

THe light is really amazing... Great shot. Nice one.
Thanks
Sayan

Color and style are remarquable. Very different about the other in the kind! That colors are very inviting. It's ancien but in a very well condition! You cach a great atmosphere!

Rarely one sees such a wonderful set of colours in a photo of Architecture.
The composition is excellent, with correct brightness and textures.

There is a very slight, barely noticeable blur. Did you use tripod while taking this shot? Otherwise it could be a DOF/focusing issue.

But overall, an excellent photo. Great job!

Astoning colours, if they are not manipulated , even more.
TNX for your comment on my sunset:D!

Beautiful image Sabine with many lovely colours. A trifle hard I feel even attempting to level any of this with so many arches, one would lose too much in the levelling and cropping process. Many thanks for sharing your art.

Guten tag Wishnu

Wonderful fairytale colour, with a good pov, & excellemt sharpness & lighting. I like the repetition & overlap of the vaulted, arched, ceilngs. Good work!

Wonderful colours textures and perspective. Well done on the composition too. Very nice work!! TFS

Great photo! Colourful and well lighted image!
I like the DOF and the sharpness that makes visible every detail of the temple.
Well done!

Great shot. The light at the end of the corridor gives depth to the shot while the light from the lefthand side brings out some wonderfull colours on the right hand wall. I would love to see a high resolution version of this shot. Thanks for sharing!!!

Hi Sabine
This is a wonderful picture. How did you get those colours on the column? As far as I remember there was hardly any possiblity of such splash in this part of the monument. But I like the way you have made it lively and happening. With virtually no light source and very meagre reflected light most of my pictures have come darkish or blurred (at1/4exp).
This is as colourful as emperor Akbar's courtesans must have been ;-)
Mukesh
PS Oh - I love that touch of devnagri in your note

The colours and depth send me to that special place you've just shot, superb!

Hallo Sabine,
ist das ein wundervolles Farbenprächtiges Bild, das ist richtig ein Palast aus 1000-end und einer Nacht.
Die Farben an den Wänden schimmern richtig herrlich.
