simple colour with curved lines works well indeed! I like the coiled electrical wire on the top this further adds to the curves!

I really like the purple hue here. The composition is rather simple, but I think it works because of the inclusion of the light being reflected off the wall.

just noticed you've created "lamps" theme. and out of your lamps' photo i like this one the most. probably because of the purple colour.
