[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Looking across the old Jakarta harbour where new tall apartment towers rise above the tradional water-edge homes. Went here on a weekend with Tjutjut, a fellow treker and very knowledgable about the history of this huge city of around 20 million.

Hello Murray.
It sure shows some different 'lifestyles'.
Can say, the happy few, of Jakarta, right ?
Interesting scenery with good composition. Pity of the noise in the sky, due to the grey sky.

A striking contrast & juxtapositioning between the relatively elite apartments, & the fg slum & shanty town / fishing village & boats. Good sharpness, colour & reflections. Tfs!

Nicely done, Murray. Sharp, clear, with good composition and an interesting juxtaposition of the old and the new, as you say.

Possibly some PP to darken the upper part of the frame without losing the rich contrast of the lower?

if you reduce the brightness a little bit more, it would be better Murray, IMO
