[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my first try on infrared picture. I got my D50 camera modified to take infrared picture yesterday and I gave it a try. so here is the result.

About the building, it is the icon of bandung city (kapital of west java). Used to be a governor building when Dutch still ruled in indonesia and it is also a gov building for now.

Post processing including do a swap channel, but I think the most important thing in IR shot is to set the white balance. As we can not use Auto white balance in here so we have to do preset and usually it will be better if we set into a greenish color or into white color.

Hope you like it

Hi Yan, The affect is very striking, and I like the composition.

I use Lightroom and there conversion to IR is not the same, so are you saying that IR can take many different forms.

Thanks
Gil

hi Yan

Quite a different tone created by your IR and it has its own feel of the building mood. I wonder how it looks like on print.
