Dedication and yet it is a shame to waste all that coffee! Very effective shot at showing the motion of the cup and the reactive splash of the coffee. Hope you were able to drink some too!

brilliant shot of the 'splash', well worth your patience and persistance, but the background doesn't do much for your composition. I'd play around with your original shot a bit more, and the top part of the cup looks very obviously cut out. Tricky project, keep working on it.

Brilliant. Your hard work and patience paid off. It's perfect. The only negative is seeing all that coffee go to waste. (I'm holding on to mine very carefully right now as I write.)

Both you and your brother are talented photographers! Both of you had works that caught my eye, and each is individual.
You get an A+ for determination in capturing this creative shot. Maybe I should just grab a camera and stand back while my four children are eating; sounds like your kitchen looked like mine after a typical meal!

The idea is quite good, and you stopped the movement so well. The droplets are very nice, although I might be tempted to clone out the small ones. Probably not easy as it looks to take the shot. Nice work!

It's always good to experiment with photography and here the results are terrific. I like the way you have managed to capture the coffee in a frozen motion. My hat goes off to you.
I think well worth making so much coffee and the mess. Amazing at only 1/100 speed!

You would say that the camera had the shake after and i would believe you... Lol!
I imagine the decorum to make it... But you obtain your goal in a rich way! The movement, drops and little wave... everything is there!

nice idea! i just have one question... did you cut the cup and put it on a different background? maybe you could have added some shadows or blurred the edges a little bit so that it blends more with the background. but nevertheless, good shot!
