There is a popular proverb among Chinese, saying, "Rather go without salt for three days than without tea for a single day."

Do you want some tea? =)

Ratna.....
Welcome back !
This is great, nice object and almost perfect lighting. you have to give one soft lighting to the glass specially to the tea water, to make tea look more liquid and you will get the shadow from the glass on the water.
:)

Great note Ratna. The cleanliness, simplicity, and serenity of this shot is just amazing. I look at this and feel calm and happy right away. So sharp, and perfect contrasts between the tea kettle and cup and the bright white background. Wonderful subtle hints of shadows in the lower half to give form and great contrasts of smooth and rough textures between the tea kettle and the woven placemat it sits on. I love the choice and thickness of the frame, making everything pop out at just the right places. TFS!

Hi Ratna:)))))))))
Great composition and very nice frame effect, I see that as a culture of drinking tea, simply and ellegant. Allso that proverb is good one.

Hello Ratna,
Pleasant still life!
Was pondering if it was wise to cut the tea pot.... But I finally arrived at it adds some dynamics!
Excellent textures and colours!
