Wow! That is some shot to come back with, Tjutjut - one of the best macros I've seen on this site and so well composed with the side-on views, getting maximum sharpness. Really very good indeed, so much detail and the red divides the frame nicely. Superb shot.

The sharpness and precision is incredible in this macro.
Never seem such a bug, the tail is iridescent and the rest of the body looks menacing.

this is superb shot of the fly.
Excellent clarity and the features are wll seen in splendid details. The perching position is so lovely and the red flower really gives a good impact onto the composition.
