[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is really a moment of crossing a national boundary by foot! Today instead of weekly Sunday mountain trek, we went to Borneo Highlands near Indonesia border to do Nature study at 3600feet altitude with a large group of nature lovers. Although I failed to observe most of bird species due to my lack of knowledge about the habitat, the jungle walk was most enjoyable in the company of friendly people. Borneo is shared by 3 nations, Indonesia to the south and East Malaysia (consisting of Sarawak and Sabah) and Brunei to the north. Many species of flora, fauna and plants are found in the jungle here. This view of the Evergreen forests in neighboring Kalimantan as seen from the Kalimantan View Point.

Wondering why the color tone of this view? This is the actual look of the sky. At this altitude, the jungle is soggy and wet even when there is no rain. I guess the high dampness and moisture of the clouds really cast a thin veil of hazy mood over the mountains at this height.

Got to say I LIKE this shot Bill - great compo to have the cloud crossing the right side of the frame... Really makes us feel as if we're up the mountain with you.

wah captured from the sky, I am wonder when could do my above the ground picture. For this captured, it was looks like your in a hurry maybe because of the clouds, but the clouds gave you a good framing on this picture. Nice.
