A typical riverside scene in the jungle of Borneo. Around this part of the world, roads are few and rivers are the best way to move around. A lot of gold mining has occurred around here for many years.
The tea-coloured water is due to tannins which have leached out of the vegetation.

Hello Muray.
That water is not 'my cup of tea', haha
But the picture say it all. Typical Jungle Life.
Wonder if they make a good living with tha boats.
Best wishes from Jan

Hello Murray,
your capture with this image really does allow us all to see the conhe people live. I like the mage very much, well balanced and detailed.
Well Captured...
Steve

A nice slice-of-Borneo capture here Murray, it looks like that's a good breeding ground for mosquitoes though!

This might be a good case for using a gradient (or graduated filter) to darken the sky and allow your camera to meter a little better for the deep shadows.
