The Otherside Of Kuta
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Kuta has been famous worldwide. Therefore on my stay in Bali last December, I try to look something different for picture other than beach. I walk to beach for a relaxing but instead of taking the main road, I took another one.
This scenery is close to back side of waterboom. I waited people to passing by and I got this bakwan vendor as a fill in object.
Taken with infrared camera, I converted to b/w using greyscale after changed to JPEG from Raw file in PSCS2. I also add a little vignetting efect with curve, and gausian blur about 0.7 for softening.
Camera : Nikon D50
Lens : Nikkor 18-55 mm
Filter : Modified IR inside
Shutter speed : 1/60
F : 3.8
ISO : 200
White Balance : Preset to green in cloudy situation
Tripod : None
Note : For a little variation with color, I post on ws

This is an incredible IR shot Yan! Amazing details, you get an award for this! I love the vignetting here, it focuses the energy on the trees and the cart! You do amazing work!
