Kuta Beach

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
After yesterday post, the other side of kuta, now here is Kuta Beach. I found this vendor infront of Discovery Hotel. I like the contrast of those red umbrella against the blue sky. And I also like that it's not so crowded that day.
Taken with IR camera I do some post processing to got this color. Mostly masking each color i want to convert into original color or false color by color balance. Resize and upload here. No crop

Great beach scene.
I like how he seems to be all alone with all his goods and not a single person to buy them.
Interesting technique with IR and adding colors in pp. Good contrast you have created.
Well done!

Hi Yan
Those colours are very eyecatching! In this instance I like the way the IR treatment has reached into the shadows and deepend the sky and created an evenness throughout the shot.
Nice experiment!

A lovely scene Yan - made more intriguing by the IR sensor.. Great colours, and nice sharp image..
I've got to get me an IR camera conversion..

What an interesting colourful beach scene this is Yan.
I love the colours and different shapes here. The clouds and colourful umbrellas and sand make different layers.
It looks like a shop on an empty beach.
Thanks for sharing this with us.
