This lovely lady lives in a traditional Balinese village. She has a one roomed house, which consists of a large furnace/oven and two beds which consist of a thin mat laid upon a brick bed/counter.
She has had 12 children and her eyes sparkled with joy as we tried to communicate with my very limited Indonesian.
It was such a pleasure to meet her, Ive not met anyone who touched my soul as much as this lady for years. Hopefully I will get to meet her again next time I visit Bali. |

Love this Angela! You can definitely see the sparkle in her eyes! What a great experience for you, and a great capture of this woman. Did you happen to get her age? Love the detail on her weathered skin. Beautiful!
