| This guy named Ne' Emba. Ne' means grandpa or senior. He is a buffalo butcher. Toraja people always make burial ceremony special tradition for them. It is called Rambusolo. Usually the family or relatives who come will bring offering (buffallo or pig) to the grieve family. At the end of the burial ceremony all the buffallo (and pig)will be butchered. The meats will be distribute to people in the surrounding villages. This guy have just finished his job, butchered buffalos as you can see his hands covered by blood and many flies attached to his shirt. Actually he sat in the middle of his 'victims'. Imagine what's the smell! |

Hello, Stefanus,
my first advice for you would be to write a note. Why, what, when, where, etc etc... Although your photo is good, the lighting, composition, color and contrast, detail - are ALL good, we know nothing more about it than what the title is. WHAT does he butcher? Animals? People? What time of day was it? Why did you find it interesting? It really is a nice shot, maybe a bit of sharpening, but we need to know more.
