This house is one of Medan metrocity heritages. Formerly its owned and built by order of The Sultan (king) Deli in in 1888 , Sultan Ma'mum Al Rasyid Perkasa Alamsyah.
The King house later known as Istana Maimun (Maimoon Palace), laid at 2.772 m2, and has 30 room. The Palace now become a tourist destination because its not just old, but also the interior of the palace are unique, mixed between strong influence of Malaya culture, Islam, Spanish, India, and Italian style.
