Padang Town Beach looks idyllic, but is a little too close to the main sewer outlet for my liking. The bg hill is clad in dense tropical rainforest & coconut palms. This area is just north of the equator, & is always hot, wet, & humid.

Hi Chris,

Another wonderful landscape of yours ...

tfs,

Hi Chris...
I really appreciate your images from the tropics these days! Still winter here...
This one is very well composed, with the dominant diagonal surf... Beautiful!
Good saturated colours and a nice sky!
Greetings from Winterland,
Pablo -

Hi Chris,
Very nice beach scene with beautiful blue sky.

Hi Chris,
Another of your trademark shots. Good composition, brilliant colours and a nice tropical setting.
SUnil

well I'm happy to see it through your eyes, because you've just reminded me why I never went there, hot, wet and humid...thanx, M, (*_*)

Hot, wet, humid - and stinky too. What a shame, as it looks very attractive, even though the beach could do with a little man and a rake. Nice Hill!! Good diagonal line and it all works out very well as a comp. Green is very strong? Are you polarising again?

Hi Chris,

As always, your images are perfect! And this is no exception!
Superb colours and natural light. It's so vivid that I think I'm there too (...yeah, I wish...!). :)
Well done on the composition!

Hi Chris,

Well done on this capture and composition.

Mike

Its difficult to imagine this place as hot and humid because it looks gorgeous :)!! Well hot I can manage I guess. But humid...:|

Great nature/landscape shot Chris, another great post.

I like your photos, but also the 'untouched' aspect of your work (not a lot of pp work to make them 'web worthy')

Well done!

GT

a beautiful landscape again.... : )

Hi! Chris,

A bit too much information there about the sewer- me thinks! I was just trying to imagine this lovely scene when you spoilt the illusion. The green is rich and maybe too rich as the sand has traces of a green tint. I will try to adjust it in a WS, but those pebbles will have to go for sure.
A very tropical scene that looks rich in vegetation and I cna feel the stickiness already. In scenes like these I will always try to keep the dominant colour at bay due to it's radiosity effect.
TFS.
Mike.

Nice greens palette on this mountain Chris. Beautiful sky. Great POV.
I would have cloned out the house and the tower on the left but the image is great anyway.

Well done

Excellent compo in this Chris, with the waves leading the eye into the hill in the background. No sewerage in the photo that I can see, so that's got to be a bonus too! As you say, an idyllic setting. Congrats again.

Hello Chris. Sure an Idyllic place it looks, good looking picture.
Indeed a pitty when the sewer is close to it. Reminds me of a nice place south of Barcelona, Lovely but stinking.
Nowadays that is changed.
