Bintang beer skirt

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Sleazy bar at night in Makassar, South Sulawesi. It was hot and sweaty that evening, the sailors had just been paid for the week, they were thirsty for beer and girls.
Miss Bintang had a sexy skirt with a white Bintang beer patch embroided on it. Everybody was looking at her carrying trays of Bintang beer to and fro. She had legs too.
The ghost of Joseph Conrad was hovering over the place. |

looks like you had a hell of a night luko;-)) nice blur and ambiance tres polar noir...
I like this shot, i can feel the heat of this place with the grain and blur you've used. The guy staring at the hustling waitress fits in well, but there is something about the composition i don't quite like; not enough of the guy on the right or the people on the left. It needs a bit more context IMO. I can feel the mood you're trying to capture, but its very elusive.
It does look hot and sweaty, at least from the picture.
very nice image, as usual. I wish I had taken it..
May be I should start again to shoot in B&W...
Not done it in ages.
I used to be addicted to motion blur, so this shot speaks to me. Very "not Luko" in terms of compo, but that's what I'm here to see: something different. I like the sleazy low angle combined with the few blokes scattered about the frame drinking beer and checking out the, hmmmmm, skirt. Good one.

Very nostalgic looking shot. Could pass for a picture from the fifties.
I LOVE IT! What energy....
