[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was tempted to crop the fg bridge railing until I noticed another arched bridge, in the distant background. The diagonal axis of the railing also adds more to the compo than it detracts imho.

Taken on an arduous, non stop trip of 36 hours, from Jakarta to Padang, across the trans Sumatran 'Highway'. (A 2 lane bitumaen road, that until the late 1980's, was dirt or mud, depending on the wet / dry season). I'm not exactly sure where this was, but it may be around Lubuk Linggau? Shot from a moving bus with a high shutter speed of 1/500 th sec.

I think that the bridge works very well in the fg (even if the other one wouldn't exist).
Another wonderful view of yours.

Hi Chris,
I agree with you the FG bridge add to the composition and balance the second one in the BG. with the shore and the houses connecting them. Very well done,.
