Benyamin, you did it again. You create things that I would want to paint. This is going into my favorites before the 'ink' is dry. Your POV and PP work is flawless! Of course you used a zoom. Even real artists aren't that crazy to get so close to one of the most dangerous animals on the face of this earth....
Cheers

Hello Ben,
Amazing photo here. I was in the Rhodesian army back in 1977/8 and was actually attacked by one of these monsters, so I've seen this close-up view....... without a camera. I was in a canoe at the time, right in the middle of the Zambezi River near a place called Kazangula, (Zimbabwe).
Amazing close-up here Ben. Very sharp and well framed as well as excellent DoF. You can even se a strand of saliva from top to bottom of its mouth.
Verry well captured here.

Good shot and good angle. Compliments!

Hi Benyamin.
Your a brave man! I haven't seen a hippo in years but I can remember they are pretty big and can be aggressive if they feel like it...
Nice close up and good timing.
Well done,
Jako

Hi,
Nice shot. But the quality of the shot is not as nice. I think it whould have been better if you had arranged the contrast and the colors afterwards using ps. I tried to do it myself in the workshop.
Cheers mate!

Fantastic close up shot you have here

Hi Ben, Excellent close-up. This is worthy of the National Geographic magazine! Good colours , clarity and note. These are supposed quite dangerous creatures in the wild? Murray.

WOW! That's a wonderful shot! You're a brave guy - I wonder how did you get that close to the hippo...
What a mouth! And look at those teeth...
I love to see pictures of hippos with their mouth wide open and collect them. It is something really fascinating for me.
Their mouth is HUGE, absolutely amazing, fantastic, stunning, incredible, imponent, colossal, majestic, fascinating, powerful and ravishing. At the same time it is indescribable, scary, freaky and creepy as hell.
Looking at a hippo's mouth takes my breath away. Everything inside their mouth is terrific (despite the rotten teeth)!
Hippos can open their mouth to 4 feet - only whales can open their mouth wider than a hippo. WOW!
In this picture, we can see most of the details inside the hippo's wonderful mouth. We can even see saliva inside his mouth.
Congratulations, dude!
