Superb capture here and excellent framing too. That lens you have is perfect for the job. I do wish you luck with the weather conditions later, it can be so irritating when things dont go the way planned especially on such occassions as these.

Fantástica captura, yo intento hacer una foto a la luna y no hay manera, me sale bastante mal, la utilizo con un objetivo de 75/300mm y me sale bastante borrosa. Esta noche volveré a probar utilizando estos parámetros: f/16 with speed 1/50, ISO 100.

A ver si tengo suerte. Muy buen trabajo

Hi Mas Tjutjut, capturing the moon ? Hmm ... I wish I could do one for myself. I like the way you frame it and nice cropping. I did a WS as I feel the photo needs a little bit enhancement in contrast and sharpening.

Teh weather today is good and clear, I pray for you to get nice lunar eclipse.

bagus photonya... tapi aku mau critique ya dikit....
photo anda yang ini bagus untuk focus dan detailnya. POV juga sangat menarik tapi jika kita lihat bulan... pasti dipinggir bulan itu akan sedikit menunjukan cahaya lebih terang yang disebut dengan ring of moon. nah itu yang tidakanda dapatkan, kalau saya liat... itu dikarenakan F anda yang terlalu kecil (16) dan speed yang masih terlalu cepat (1/50)
untuk F/16 maka bulan akan terlihat redup dan Hellos pada pinggir bulan pun tak tampak, tapi andaikan anda pakai F/taklebih dari 11dan speed dibawah 1/50 sudah pasti anda akan dapatkan hellos dan ring of moon lebih jelas dan dimensi bulan akan lebih baik. lain kali kalau photo bulan coba pakai filter UV L37C / natural Colors filter ya.... biar warnanya juga sama seperti warna kalau kita liat bulannya langsung... :)

very lovely moon, bro tjutjut.. clear shot lagi ne.. aku punya camera belum bisa tangkap bulan.. not clear at all..

but like u i was watching the moon the day before the partial gerhana bulan.. aduh bro cantik sekali esp. jam 11.30 mlm.. sangat terang dan aku cukup kecewa tak dapat ambil shot.. im thinking of buying nikon later..
