[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a shot of the Petitenget beach at sunset. A little girl playing in the sea during sunset, about two kilometers North of the temple of the previous postings.

Technical note:
I've been running around with my Cokin filterset and for this one - shot from tripod - the filterset was entirely full with filters, being:
- Neutral Density Filter P154;
- Coking P027 soft warming filter;
- And last but not least the Cokin P 125L Gradual Tobacco filter, top-to-bottom.
Oh yes, and off course a UV filter ;-).

Only a slight smart sharpen after resizing, the rest is thanks to my heavy backpack with filters, tripod and ballheads.

I already started a Bali travelogue on TrekEarth, but I also want to share some (different!) pictures on TrekLens - though sometimes from a same burst of shots.

Hi Dennis - the off-centre composition works very well, the reflection is superb and I love the graduated tones across the shot. The figure on the extreme right is a great additional touch, adds extra interest to the scene. Nice shot!

Hi Dennis,
I like the two reflections of the sun in this picture, also the orange/sepia tone makes it an attractive image. And like Richard already wrote; the out of centre sun makes is special.
Hans

Hi Dennis,
Great lines, wonderful colour and the composition is a good one with the diagonal lines - ha, what do I care - I just love the atmosphere of your picture - much more important to me.

Nice one Dennis, it's good Tobacco is good for something. Using these filters has changed the look of the photo by stopping motion in a dim scene. I like it.
Nico

It was worth carrying the backpack--but I'm glad you were carrying it and not me.
It is a wonderful playful shot with intensity.
