[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Pura Tirta Empul is the temple complex around the popular holy springs, with alledgedly magical powers, North-East of Tampaksiring - Bali.

This shot is showing the main bathing pool, in which the springs are gushing out through waterspouts. The man is walking in the water from sprout to sprout, sacrificing a small gift at each sprout, pray at each one and get a little bath. It takes him about 30-45 minutes to do all sprouts in the two bathing pools and the water is REALLY cold!

Technical note:
There was a little pathway walking past this sprout - just so you don't think I'm climbing onto holy places just to get a good shot.

this is very much similar to few traditions in India as well...a very interesting note here and a superb shot, nice timing...

P.S. One thing that I note here is the border color...i think a bottle green one would compliment the overall shot but this is just a thought here, the actual shot is anyhow striking!

Mooie opname van een religieus ritueel. Je hebt de devotie goed te pakken. Kleine kritiek: de overbelichting links op de foto op het papier c.q verpakking....
Het stromend water geeft een plus aan deze foto.
