... but it's always me who ends up getting wet. That was part of the note of this picture of Biance.

Well Biance not an umbrella that will do any good to the monsoon rains in Indonesia! So this rainy day picture is for you.
At current it's also raining day after day in the Netherlands, but it's not even closely eventful and picturesque as a good rain in Indonesia

Photograph taken while driving towards the mountain village of Brastagi.

Rainy Day - Mary J Blidge

It's just those rainy days
Spend a lifetime tryin' to wash away
Until the sun comes out and shines again
Smile for me, smile for me

Real nice image, I feel honoured - thanks Dennis.

1/20th is a favourite of mine, it looks really good here... the motion blur adds to the sensation of moisture/speed. My friend William lived in Indonesia until he was about six, and whenever he visits Indonesia he always rants about how wonderful the rain is over there - I can understand, because rain in Africa is nothing like rain in Canada, both have their own merits.

Again great photo. :) Thankfully it's not raining today! Thanks again.

Biance.

Dennis, this is a very interesting shot. You have captured the intensity of the rain in the image. Nice spot of colour and movement. I like it.

Hi Dennis,
Very recognizable photo!!
I like this view "out of the window". It does remind me of a bus trip in jamaica, when there was un awfull lot of rain. The bus was nearly floating.
greetings,
Joop!

Hi Dennis,
I like this shot. It looks alike watercolor painting. Blurred scene is eyecatching.

Hello Dennis

Interesting the look,
I already tried sometimes to give some shots from within of the car
in this situation, I didn't think I was happy.
I need to try again in smaller speed.
Beautiful visual!
Congratulations

This is very interesting shot Dennis.
I like the blurry effect here.
It increases dynamism and gives a good sense of the weather.
Well done.
