[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Mount Bromo also Gunung Bromo, located in the Tengger Caldera, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in East Java, Indonesia. It is an active volcano and part of the Tengger massif, and even though at 2329 meters it is not the highest peak of the massif, it is the most well known.
Every twenty minutes or so the mountain gives a little puff of smoke.
Played with levels and selective curves and desaturated a little.....After uploading I see the desaturated version is not there. In workshop is the photo I prefer.

Hi Nico,
I like your capture and the mood on it. It's impressing when we don't know that, good explanatory note. Thanks

Hi Nico,
What a great shot, I love the colours of this, nice and moody.
Did you have to wait long for this puff of smoke to appear?

Hello Nico.
Very impressive view and good loolking picture of this Volcano.
Imo, this looks bertter than the original in the ws.
I.m sure you captured this from very long distance, now it looks as it one mountain. I know it is like the Etna, many mauntaind all together, but from distance it looks one.
Good work

Hi Nico...

Superb capture. I love that light on the burst. If i am not mistaken this is Mt Semeru :)

Hi Nico,
Splendid photograph of this smoking mount! For me this is very recognizable because 9 years I was here also. That was still in the analogous era.
Greetings from Holland,
Adri

So dramatic and fierce, yet so soft and elegant.

It's a strong and moody image and it create a fine graphic effect. Well seen and realized1
ciao, Cinzia

Hi Nico
I prefer the original to the workshop. I like the blue tones, the white of the clouds and the hint of red light reflecting off the top of the smoke, none of which come out so strongly in the workshop version. The foggy glimpse of forest on the slopes of the mountain is also pretty spectacular.
cheers
Stephen

Hi Nico !

Daniel
