[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a window in a beautiful mosque that was under construction in Cirebon in north east/ central Java. We were wandering around the construction site and a builder with three off-siders invited us inside the mosque and to climb to the top of the minaret. It was a very special time, shared friendship without shared language, beautiful building, beautiful views. I appologise sincerely for not knowing the meaning of the symbolism. I tried to look it up but to no avail. I'm not even sure if it is the right way up.

Beautiful contrast and details in the window, well shosen central composition.
As for the symbolism, It's arabic calligraphy and it reads :" Mohamed is the messenger of Allah"

Yes, it is in the right way up. I can read the most dominant calligraphy. It says : Muhammad. But note sure about the smaller ones. May be others can help.
