[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Borobudur is a ninth century Mahayana Buddhist monument in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. A main dome is located at the center of the top platform, and is surrounded by seventy-two Buddha statues seated inside perforated stupa.
When I was there last year, paying a few extra dollars at the gate I had Borobudur to myself for an hour before the gates opened at 6am. Very special.
Used curves and increased contrast at the bottom of the photo to give more detail on the stones.
