[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Rinjani is an active volcano, on the island of Lombok, to the east of Bali. It is one of the tallest mountains in Indonesia (4,000 m +). You can see the multiple cones in the profiled silhouette. Shot from Gili Trawangan. ('Gili' is Sasak for 'Island'). The Sasaks are the native peoples in these parts.

Hi Chris,

I like the semi-sillhouette of the 2 trees and the mountain rather volcano in the middle. The view is really relaxing.

The trees standing there like the curtain of the stage. The stage is wonderful in a colored silhouette. The boat is an additional detail that helps to make it more lively

Wonderful colours. Nice silhouttes. WEll composed.

Tree silhouettes seem a bit on a softer side, but I very much like the sky - incredible!

What really makes this shot for me is the trees though, not the volcano. I love how you centered the volcano in the trees, the other nice thing is how the trees just touch the edge of where the light is reaching. Nice shot.
