Mt Fuji as seen from Chuo Expressway. It was not by accident that the exit was placed on this location.

"Tech:

Sometimes I wish it would be that simple for me,too:)
This is a photo about the beauty of that volcano and also, about the humor of the situation: you see the beautiful mountain from far,far away, you drive over the speed limit to get there sooner and bang! there are the barriers:)
Good shot,well seen,Allan.

hi allan, wow what a contrast, usually we see the postcards shots not this informative view, this is a great point of view and a nice twist to the the norm,
well done,
thanks scott

Allan,
I am very jealous. I have been in Japan for 9 of the last 16 months and I haven't had the privilege to see Mt. Fuji like this. Great details with superb focus. The f/11 was a great choice. Superb sky- blue gradient. Beautiful dominance of Mr. Fuji-san (or is it Ms.?) Great work!
Scott

Stunning. This would be the kind of view that would take your breath away every time, no matter how many times you saw it!

Great composition, good sharpness and exposure.

A wonderful shot here...really very beautiful and such a marvelous photo of Mt.Fuji. The lighting and colors are just great. The expressway below adds an interesting element to the whole scene. Very nicely done.

Wow Allan, a nice one, because the freeway exit is a sight we don't get to see quite often. The lamppost distract a bit from the mountain's majestic look, though. Nice contrasts and spot-on exposure. I hope you told the guy with the white Corolla Verso that his left brake-light was broken ;o)). (I'm glad to see this model is driving in Japan, in Belgium we don't get to see much of those - except mine, that is lol).
