Another photo of my Japan trip.
This one was taken at an old chemist house in Kanazawa, now a museum.
This book lies behind a glas, lit by a fluorescent light on the right.
I tried several aperture values and focus and finaly came to this one, a bit underexposed when taking it.
I hope you will like it... |

Gilles,
Welcome to TL! Even though I can't read the writing, I like what you have done. Did you happen to use a macro lens? I like the softly blurred foreground and BG. I think that presenting this in B&W would be a good choice as it would add to the mystique.
Look forward to seeing future posts...
Michael

dear Gilles Paveau,
you succeed to capture the air of this old papers and letters on one page.
the long time from written until exhibiting now looks like the thick volume of piled papers.
Japanese letters are originally artistic, its feature is seen well in this your view.
your this shot and other shots look a little dark, but in dark pictures we can feel fine and delicate characteristics hidden in the bright light.
thank you,
Akihisa
