whoa this is really is a trip! i like the pattern you've laid atop the bamboo. its seemed surreal at first but now i understand (i think) how you've done it! a cool post i must say.

Nice effect you've created here Toru, although like Karith said, it would have been nice to have left a note.

I'd have preferred to have had the effect on only the bamboo, and left the backround alone. The bokeh looks pleasing enough to warrent this.
