Damien,

This is a very interesting building; I can see what attracted you to it. Could you tell me what kind of building it is—an apartment building, &c.

Also, I might have zoomed out a bit to capture more context of the building.

Strange building but a nice shot of the architecture.
Looks like a pile of washing machines on top of each other.

What an interesting shot you show us and perfect to the theme!
Like Derek said, its looks like washing machines. Really this architecture is weird, and I guess it is acording to the space trouble that exist in Japan. Could this building be a some kind of cheaper hotel ?

Très bon coup d'oeil pour avoir capté cet assemblage géométrique bien contrasté. Je trouve pourtant que la photo manque un peu de "pêche" et propose une autre version en WS.

Nice contribution to the theme, it remind me a building made in Montréa for Expo 67. Lots of cubic appartment like this. Very good idea, even with the soft light we have a nice 3D perspective and volumes. Nice work and TFS

Hi Damien,

You cubes theme is a good one and this shot is perfect for it. Your crop worked well to focus on the piling of the cubes and I like that they are slightly skewed to the right (or are they?). I'm also interested in learning what this building is. TFS

I can see what attracted you to this building. It's amazing! Having looked at your workshop, I must say that I wholeheartedly agree with your crop. The original image was a boring record of the building. This is a wonderful study on the character of the building.
