Hello waskitho,
Absolutely love the technique used on this photograph. Excellent to my eyes for the tone of this moment is very pleasing. It looks like a painted illustration for a history book or postcard. Again the color tones you achieved here are beautiful. The composition is quite good with all of the color in the foreground and the background drops off not taking to much attention away yet has its own dynamic with the long bridge in its horizontal length across the photo.
Observation:maybe cloning out the green and red flags/markers in the background third to keep all the color in the foreground would look nice.
Love this whole structure upfront with the alignment of the boats and the reflections in the water are gorgeous. Great job capturing the people in these positions for a storyline for the mind to try and decipher what is actually taking place. Are they just returning or in preperations to leave. Really excellent job here with subject and post-processing.

Michael

I am not sure if you were going for the yellow look (is that what you ment by tone?).. It catches me as bad white ballance though. Nice framing, sharpness, etc. But I dont like the color.

Hello Waskitho,

The Biwako Lake is a great inspiration source for you.
I like the composition and I really like the color. That remains me some work on old photo which were re-colored. This yellow work well for me.

Marc.

Well done, the composition works well. Good eye to notice the boats and how they are sprawled in upon the water. It helps to lead our eye into the picture. The yellow tone was a good choice too. It makes it feel very '70's, but for some strange reason I seem to automatically associate this scene with Vietnam.

A flower of boat if we could say. So it's a good idea! We have a good view of the rest for the same price :o)You say playing with tones. Did you ad some yellow tone? THere was some smog or fog it look like! I did a little Workshop for you to show another possibility :o) Very nice shot!

WOW! I love the tones :) and U captured the mood very well... BEAUTIFUL Sharpness! WOW! I love this shot and the tinge is beautiful! RGB mostly naa... One of the best I have ever seen :) Thanks for sharing :)

Take care...
- Hima.

Nice angle of capture...and the colour is just stunning. I think your work with PS is great. Well captured.
