Bonjour Lisa,
You seem to be new here so I give you my warm welcome. This place, as you may know, is one of the most famous in Japan, and therefore you will see tons of pictures from this pavilion. Yours is fine too, but you may want to know a few things:
Your framing is good, using the natural landscape in the foreground, but as it was a cloudy day, you may have tried to insist on the building itself. As you have this frame, you didn't need to keep an exact symetry.
Another important thing is that on this site you can upload pictures up to 800 pixels, for a size of 300kb. Do not hesitate to use these settings. It will be easier for all of us to gice a comment if we can see the details...
(you may easily find resizing tools for free on internet if you do not have any program that can do it on your computer)
